Phuket, Thailand: Big Buddha and Wat Chalong Temple

untitled

“What we think, we become.” -Buddha

Faithful & respecful. That’s just how I would describe Thai people. After staying here in Phuket for a week, I greatly admired the way they value life and their beliefs. It was just an amazing feeling  to be standing in front of this white marble statue of Buddha with the prayers and ringing bells in the background just gave me the chills.

From here, you also have the breathtaking view of Chalong Bay, Phuket town and surrounding beaches.

Wat Chalong Temple

There is a dress code when you enter a temple. Shoulders & legs covered and hats & shoes off. At the entrance, they will hand you sarong if you need one.

Wat Chalong Temple

This is definitely a must-see destination here in Phuket!
